The rooms were spacious. The room had new wood floors. the bathrooms were remodeled. I found them excellent. the location near japantown is a real bonus, i thought.
the building is old so there is an expectation of things that come with an old building, though you could hear everything.

the breakfast was good. it included waffles, yogurt and fruit. the location was convenient (easy to get around). the staff helped us get a room early even though it was fully booked.
the building is old (i expected it). i could hear the people above me walking. the shower head sprayed water everywhere. the ac in the room was basically a glorified fan and did nothing on the hot days.

i found a really nice suite on the fourth floor. it has vintage boujee details that gives it a special charm. the location is excellent too. i walked to japantown for breakfast.
i found that the windows opened onto roofs. the roofs were covered in broken glass.
